(U) Poloff delivered Ref B points on August 28, 2006 and followed up 
on September 15.  On November 15, Icelandic Ministry for Foreign 
Affairs Legal Advisor informed Post that the Government of Iceland 
will support Michael Matheson's candidacy for re-election to the 
International Law Commission.  Iceland's Mission to the UN has also 
been instructed to communicate this position to USUN.
