Sensitive but Unclassified. Please handle accordingly. (SBU): The Ministry of Health (MOH)reported yesterday, June 2, the first H1N1 flu case in Egypt. A 12-year old Egyptian-American girl, who arrived on a May 31 direct flight from New York City with her mother, was stopped at the airport by MOH authorities who discovered she had a high fever. She was transferred to Cairo's Abbassia Hospital, where she remains in quarantine. Central Public Health Laboratory tests later confirmed the girl has the H1N1 virus.
